POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Engineering Support Services Project Administrator is responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering.  The Project Administrator will oversee and coordinate all of the Summerlin Engineering Support Services’ team projects during the design process, including all utilities and roadways.  This position requires exceptional organization skills, strong computer Excel skills, ability to multi-task, work well in a team setting and perform efficiently on their own with minimal supervision.  
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Coordination of Summerlin Engineering Team work efforts to help submit, process and status Engineering Consultant Improvement designs through all internal and external teams for review.
  • Track and file engineering consultant’s improvement design into HHC’s Dragonfly /e-builder electronic filing system.
  • Assist in tracking and coordinating Improvement plans and bid schedule for improvement design infrastructure bidding by HHC Construction dept.
  • Coordinate, submit and track HHC Engineering plan designs to HHC Planning department for review conflicts with both roadway and dry utility structure conflicts with their landscape designs.
  • Assist in working with consultants in processing requested agency fees and agreements.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates to establish project budgets and cash flow requirements.
  • Become knowledgeable of project names, locations and priorities.
  • Be familiar with agency review processing, including permit requirements and priorities.
  • Assist in organizing and filing Project files, especially copying and downloading into Dragonfly and e-builder.
  • Processing of engineering contracts and invoices for the HHC Engineering team.
  • Interface with HHC Construction and Planning Team in assisting to obtain plans, files and other information.
  • Organize/schedule meetings, maintain calendar, book travel and process expense reporting for the Engineering team.
  • Participate in receptionist relief rotation.
 
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Proven track record as a project administrator for Engineering or similar company.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and Outlook.
  • Must be professional and possess the ability to deal with all levels of management.
     
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • Preferred education in civil Engineering or some college level in similar field.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in related land development construction, design and/or engineering.
  • State of Nevada Notary Public.
