Reservationist Manager
The Reservationist Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the reservations office in an attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, providing all guests with the highest quality service. Previous experience with training, scheduling, and payroll administration is a must. This role is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression and positive image of the restaurant. You must have a proven ability to resolve customer issues, complaints, and problems in a quick efficient manner and continuously improve 10 Corso Como’s ability to anticipate our guests' needs. This role will ensure proper staffing during peak times and productivity while managing payroll and controlling labor expenses to meet financial goals
  • Manage the reservations department
  • Handle all new hires, training, and office supervision
  • Creating and adapting reservation book to maximize seating and create the desired reservation arc for each night
  • Working closely with the Maître d’ to use feedback to constantly adapt to seasonal seating patterns
  • Ensure all booking policies are being followed by all team members
  • Implement and manage guest recognition programs
  • Ensure appropriate tone and phrasing in all customer telephone calls
  • Proofread all emails to ensure proper grammar and spelling
  • Handle distribution and filing of all restaurant menus within the reservation office
  • Create email templates for consistency of written correspondence
  • Write and develop the reservations manual and all forms (PMP, FMP, cancelations, large party increase, etc.)
  • Handle calls that escalated to the reservations office and follow up with customer complaints after service issues
  • Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Provides excellent service to internal customers
  • Handles all guest and employee complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest quality database relating to guest history
  • Keep ready for PX arrival
  • Update guest information, if any, into Seven Rooms
  • Creating the office schedule within approved budget

  • Minimum of 3 years of reservations or host experience in restaurants or establishments of similar caliber
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A professional and polished approach to leadership with a passion for hospitality
  • A warm and gracious outlook, the ability to create stellar guest experiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to teach and mentor others with a positive attitude
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player
  • Must be open to working day or night shifts, week days, weekends, and holidays
