David R. Weinreb

Prior to his appointment as CEO of The Howard Hughes Corporation, Mr. Weinreb spent the last 17 years as Chairman and CEO of TPMC Realty Corporation, a company he built into a multi-faceted investment firm. Located in Dallas, Texas, TPMC specializes in the acquisition and repositioning of underperforming real estate and real estate related assets. In addition to development, ownership and management of real estate, the firm's activities include mezzanine financing and private equity investing.

Mr. Weinreb has been actively involved in real estate transactions across the continental United States. He has been the Managing General Partner and a limited partner in numerous single-asset entities. In Houston, he developed Innova, a 1.3 million square foot mixed-use project which includes a 24-screen, state-of-the-art movie theatre and Park Towers, a 545,000 square foot, Class A, institutional office complex. Innova and Park Towers are noted developments that have won numerous awards for being "best-in-class" in their respective asset categories.

Mr. Weinreb attended New York University and began his real estate career in the late 1970s in New York City. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California. Mr. Weinreb has served on a number of boards, including an appointment by the former mayor of Dallas to the 'Inside the Loop Committee'. His philanthropic interests are both local and national.
