David R. Weinreb

Chief Executive Officer

David R. Weinreb is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of The Howard Hughes Corporation. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Weinreb spent 17 years as Chairman and CEO of TPMC Realty Corporation, a company he built into a multi-faceted investment firm. Located in Dallas, Texas, TPMC specialized in the acquisition and repositioning of underperforming real estate and real estate related assets. In addition to development, ownership and management of real estate, the firm's activities included mezzanine financing and private equity investing.

Mr. Weinreb has been actively involved in real estate transactions across the United States. He was the Managing General Partner, and a limited partner, in numerous single-asset entities. In Houston, he developed Innova, a 1.3 million square foot mixed-use project that included a 24-screen, state-of-the-art movie theatre and Park Towers, a 545,000 square foot, Class A, institutional office complex. Innova and Park Towers are noted developments that have won numerous awards for being "best-in-class" in their respective asset categories.

Mr. Weinreb attended New York University and began his real estate career in the late 1970s in New York City. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California. Mr. Weinreb has served on a number of boards, including an appointment by the former mayor of Dallas to the 'Inside the Loop Committee'. His philanthropic interests are both local and national.
