As a world-renowned destination known for its iconic location, South Street Seaport is comprised of three historic buildings and one pavilion shopping building on the East River in Lower Manhattan. The re-envisioned South Street Seaport will create an unparalleled New York experience that is compelling to residents, local workers and tourists. Pier 17 will transform into a world-class shopping, dining and entertainment venue which will make the area even more popular and provide the rapidly growing residential population of Lower Manhattan with a much-needed community anchor.
