110 North Wacker is a new 55-story, 1.5 million-square-foot premier downtown office tower that is poised to be a significant addition to Chicago’s iconic skyline. The Class A building is set between prestigious Wacker Drive and the Chicago River, located on a prominent riverfront parcel that is the last premier office site in Chicago, offering unmatched views of and from the building. The Howard Hughes Corporation’s vision is to deliver the next evolution of preeminent office space and has assembled a world-class team with global and local expertise to meet the strong demand for trophy-class office space in Chicago’s Central Business District.
The building is designed by Chicago-based Goettsch Partners, renowned for their high-rise design and technical expertise. The tower is wrapped in a high-performance aluminum-and-glass curtain wall, showcasing sweeping views up and down the river, as well as of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan, all while providing state-of-the art office space, amenities, and notable public outdoor environments.
The series of architectural setbacks along the west facade creates 14 corner-office opportunities per floor which, combined with open air on all four sides of the building, provide incredible views and daylight on all sides of every floor. The location, design and first-class amenities combine to deliver the ultimate opportunity in prestige, efficiency and office experience in downtown Chicago.
In addition to approximately half the site being allocated for public open space, the tower will feature an abundance of retail and dining options, state-of-the-art building systems, and an arts program.
The new high-rise is currently under construction and is set to open in Q4 of 2020.
